Older set gets new 'Look' from TV Land
EmptyFine wine isn't the only thing that gets better with age.
TV Land has partnered with Wilhelmina Models to round up a new crop of would-be supermodels with a little more life experience for their reality series, "She's Got the Look."
The series, now shooting in New York, will spotlight 20 women over age 35 as they compete for a modeling contract and a photo spread in Self Magazine. Kim Alexis will host, and supermodel Beverly Johnson, celebrity stylist Robert Verdi and Wilhelmina president Sean Patterson make up the panel of judges.
"Real women in their 40s and 50s are too often overlooked in the scope of the TV landscape," TV Land president Larry Jones said. "TV Land's goal is to tell the rich stories of these striking women in a fun and entertaining way."
Allison Grodner ("Big Brother") is executive producing the series, previously titled "The Next Great Supermodel." It is slated to air in the summer of 2008.
