OohLaLA! Festival Returns To Los Angeles

The Francophile gathering, which features such artists as Citizens!, Tomorrow’s World, -M- (Matthieu Chedid) and Chocolate Genius, expands to additional cities this year including New York, San Francisco and Montreal.

Francophile gathering the OohLaLA! Festival returns to its home base in Los Angeles this year but will also expand to additional cities including San Francisco and Montreal.

The festivities will kick off Oct. 11 at LA's El Rey theatre and continue for three nights in various locations including downtown's Club Nokia and Silver Lake's The Satellite. The event will be executive produced by Goldenvoice and presented by KCRW.

Highlighting emerging talent from France, the festival also features breakout performances by the likes of Citizens!, Housse de Racket, Lescop and making their U.S. debut, Tomorrow’s World, all on the roster of French label Kitsuné.

Additional acts booked include critics' darling -M- (Matthieu Chedid), who'll be making his first appearance in California, as well as Nouvelle VagueChocolate Genius and François & The Atlas Mountains.

The same line-up will make its way to San Francisco, Montreal and New York.
