Oprah Winfrey really likes tea -- so much so, she's lending her name to one.
After teasing some "O so fun news" on her Twitter and Instagram handles over the past day, the TV exec and former talk show host appeared on a Wednesday afternoon live-stream to announce the launch of Oprah Chai at Starbucks and Teavana stores.
Starbucks CEO Howard Schultz greeted Winfrey at an amphitheater filled to the brim, saying he first approached her about developing a new tea in 2013.

"I don't just like tea," said Winfrey. "I love tea. And it really is a blend that I love that I came up with … with the teaologist at Starbucks and Teavana."
Oprah Chai will hit the chains toward the end of of April -- "two weeks before Mother's Day" -- and all proceeds will go to charities that help youth education, including the Oprah Winfrey Leadership Academy for Girls in South Africa.
Starbuck is "more than just a coffee company," added Winfrey. "It's about nurturing people's spirits. … I've been asked to do a lot of things — a clothing line, a perfume line, a car line — none of that felt organic. This felt like something fun to do."
The duo stressed that Winfrey was hands-on during the process, showing footage of her trip to Seattle where she worked on tea blends and concluding their brief presentation in typical Oprah fashion.
"You get a chai, you get a chai, you get chai," shouted Schultz, before Winfrey screamed "Everybody get's a chai!" to rapturous applause.
