'Twas a Night in Litchfield: Cast of 'Orange Is the New Black' Spoofs Christmas Classic (Video)
" 'Twas a night in Litchfield, and all through the prison, not a creature was stirring, not even a chicken."
Happy holidays from Litchfield prison.
The cast of Orange Is the New Black took a break from filming the upcoming fourth season of the Netflix series to deliver their own version of the holiday poem, "Twas the Night Before Christmas."
"Twas a night in Litchfield, and all through the prison, not a creature was stirring, not even a chicken," begins the collaborative video. From Laverne Cox to Uzo Aduba — and blink-and-you’ll-miss-‘em cameos from leads Taylor Schilling and Laura Prepon — nearly all of the inmates are accounted for as they rotate rattling off lines as their onscreen characters.
Deviating more than ever-so-slightly from the classic tale, the gang recounts robbing and roughing up St. Nick once they discover all of the contraband and swag that he has in tow. Watch the video to see how their story ends below.
OITNB returns to Netflix in 2016.
