Orange, TF1 team for VOD
Premium content available on TF1 Vision catalogPARIS -- France Telecom subsidiary Orange has joined forces with private French TV group TF1 to offer content from its VOD service TF1 Vision on its own Orange VOD platform, both companies said Thursday.
Subscribers to Orange's 24/24 video VOD platform and Internet service will be able to access premium content available from TF1 Vision's catalog including Gallic and U.S. series such as "Fringe," "Lost" and "Grey's Anatomy," plus programming from TF1 Cable channel Ushuaia and comedy specials.
The deal will take effect "between now and the end of the year," according to TF1. Videos will be available for rent and unlimited viewing during a 24-hour period.
Orange's VOD service already features audiovisual content from several European and French producers, not to mention an exclusive deal with HBO. Orange's 24/24 video is available on both Orange TV and www.orange.fr.
