Oscars: 10 Live-Action Short Films Make the Cut

Five nominees will be selected from the list of 10 films that were selected from the 144 that were submitted.

Ten live-action short films have made the cut for further Academy Award consideration. One hundred forty-four films were submitted in the category.

Short Films and Feature Animation Branch members will now select five nominees from among the 10 titles on the shortlist.  Branch screenings will be held in Los Angeles, London, New York and San Francisco in December.

The 10 films are listed below in alphabetical order by title, with their production companies:
