Oscars 2015: Reese Witherspoon Documents Her Oscars Day on Instagram
Best actress nominee Reese Witherspoon used Instagram to document her Oscars day to her 1.9 million followers.
Reese Witherspoon may not have snagged a little gold man during Sunday's Oscars ceremony, but she totally killed it at the game of Instagram, using the photo-sharing social media platform to chronicle her Oscars day prep to her 1.9 million followers.
Witherspoon started the day with an Oscar-shaped cookie (complete with gold frosting), as any good leading lady should. See the rest of Reese's Oscars day, below.
Witherspoon shared everything from her crumby cookie breakfast — #BreakfastOfChampions — to screenshots of texts from her biggest fan: her mother. Heart emojis were aplenty. Oh, and she says "Hello to Neil Patrick Harris"!
Midday, Witherspoon shared two photos featuring the hashtag #AskHerMore. #AskHerMore is a movement urging entertainment reporters to ask women more creative questions on the red carpet, aside from "What are you wearing?"
She also shared a photo of her Oscars date, CAA power player and husband Jim Toth. Alongside a photo of the two and a gorgeous bouquet of white roses, she captioned, "The best thing to have on the red carpet is someone who loves you and supports you….(and buys you flowers.)" She ended her Instagram marathon with a back shot of her minimalist off-the-shoulder Tom Ford gown. Sorry Reese, everyone needed to know who you were wearing!
