Oscars 2015: Wolfgang Puck Describes Governors Ball Menu, Including "Lobster BLTs" (Video)

Puck's Oscars menu also includes sushi and mini burgers.

Sushi, mini burgers, lobsters BLTs. Wolfgang Puck just gave a full runthrough of his post-Oscars Governors Ball menu on the red carpet and it sounds incredible.

This is Puck's 21st year as the official caterer of the Academy Awards Governors Ball, which is expecting to host 1,500 guests after the Oscars ceremony.

Puck told Ryan Seacrest the menu also includes potato with caviar, sole with carrot and ginger, and sliced short ribs.

Puck also called into On Air With Ryan Seacrest on Friday, describing his rise to chef stardom.

"My first job in the States was actually in Indianapolis in a restaurant called La Tour,” Puck told Seacrest. “I stayed there for a year and came out to Los Angeles and worked in a restaurant called Ma Maison, which some of the older folks out there might still remember from the ’70s early ’80s. And then in 1982, I opened Spago, and to remember in the old times, we had the Oscar party at Spago all the time. And then in ’94, ’95, I started doing the Governors Ball.”
