At Sunday's Oscars, Catherine Martin scored gold for her 1920s-inspired designs in husband and director Baz Luhrmann's The Great Gatsby.
The award-winning designer was also honored at Rodeo Drive's Walk of Style on Friday. During the event, she joked: "Australians are used to rain, because no matter what anyone tells you about the Sydney climate, there's about a 30 percent chance of rain. To us, rain is normal, so we don’t get that upset about it. Also, Gatsby seems to bring rain. It rained at Cannes, it rained at the New York premiere, it rained throughout the shoot in Mount Wilson. I’d like to take responsibility!"
If that's what it takes to win, then rain on.
