'La La Land'

'Arrival' and 'Moonlight' each earned eight noms.

Oscar nominations were unveiled Tuesday morning, with La La Land leading the pack with 14, matching it with Titanic and All About Eve's records. Damien Chazelle's musical was nominated for best picture, best actress/actor and original song, among others.

Arrival and Moonlight were runners-up with eight nominations each, including a best director nom for Moonlight's Barry Jenkins, who will compete in the category against Mel Gibson, Chazelle, Kenneth Lonergan and Denis Villeneuve.
