Oscars: Twitter Reacts to All-White Acting Nominations

"Golden statuette? Paint that Oscar statuette white," says one Twitter user.

All of the Academy Award acting nominations this year went to white actors and actresses and many people took to Twitter to express their frustration and outrage over the lack of racially diverse nominees.

The last time all of the acting contenders were white was 2011. Before that, an all-white acting nominee list hadn't occurred since 1998. The most notable snub in the acting category was David Oyelowo for his role of Martin Luther King Jr. in Selma.
