'Paranormal' headed for Tokyo sequel
Japanese-language film brings ghost across PacificTOKYO – “Paranormal Activity” is to get a Japanese sequel, to be titled “Paranormal Activity – Tokyo Night,” and produced by local distributor Presidio Corp.
Written and directed by Toshikazu Nagae, the Japanese-language film will follow on from the events of the original, with a student bringing the ghost back to Tokyo from San Diego.
The Japanese version is being produced by Presidio president Yasutaka Hanada. This will be the first major production for the company, which has distributed titles such as “Hotel Rwanda,” “Flyboys” and “Open Water” locally.
