Paris Attack: Julianne Moore, Diane Kruger Join French Celebrities in 'Je Suis Charlie' Video

The actresses joined Gerard Depardieu, Marion Cotillard and others to show solidarity after the Paris terror attacks

French celebrities — and a handful of Americans — showed their support for the victims of the Charlie Hebdo terrorist attack in Paris and their families by declaring “Je suis Charlie” (“I am Charlie”) in a moving video broadcast on CanalPlus evening program Le Grand Journal Thursday night.

Julianne Moore and Seth Meyers joined Marion Cotillard, Jean Dujardin and Diane Kruger in the 2½-minute video, which brought together actors, directors and singers of all stripes, including Gerard Depardieu, who is now a Russian citizen, former Cannes Film Festival president Gilles Jacob, singer Mika and Chanel designer Karl Lagerfeld.

French actors Melanie Laurent, Francois Cluzet, Pierre Niney, Laurent Lafitte, Raphael Personnaz, Dany Boon, Kev Adams, Virginie Ledoyen, Gilles Lelouch and Jean Reno also appeared in the video, as well as beloved 1960s singer Johnny Hallyday and directors Claude Lelouch, Guillaume Canet and Olivier Dahan.

Legendary French New Wave actor Jean-Paul Belmondo (Breathless) emphatically concludes the video.
