Paris celebrates Clint in pictures

Outdoor photo retrospective on the Champs-Elysees

PARIS -- France will rekindle its ongoing love affair with Clint Eastwood on Monday Jan. 11 with a new photo expo honoring the American actor-director's long career.

The outdoor retrospective titled "Clint Eastwood: le cinema en liberte" ("Clint Eastwood: cinema in complete freedom") will feature more than 40 photos from films featuring Eastwood both in front of and behind the camera.

The photos will be displayed on Paris' famed Champs-Elysees through Feb. 5.

President Nicolas Sarkozy inducted Eastwood into the French Legion of Honor in November and Eastwood called France his "second home." "Invictus" hits French theaters on Jan. 13.
