Patti Roberts Nelson Dies at 67

She served as an assistant to Flip Wilson, Sammy Davis Jr. and Art Linson

Patti Roberts Nelson, an assistant to Flip Wilson, Sammy Davis Jr. and Fast Times at Ridgemont High producer Art Linson, died Oct. 16 of cancer at her home in Los Angeles. She was 67.

Nelson worked for Linson from the late 1970s to the late ’90s, aiding him on other films including The Untouchables (1987), Casualties of War (1989), We’re No Angels (1989), This Boy's Life (1993), Heat (1995) and Fight Club (1999).

Survivors include her husband, Herman, and daughter Shaune
