Paul Hertzberg Returns as Chairman of IFTA
Kirk D’Amico and Lise Romanoff are vice chairman, while 23 candidates are running for a dozen open board seats.
Paul Hertzberg, president of CineTel Films, has been re-elected for another two-year term as chairman of the Independent Film & Television Association, the group that puts on the annual American Film Market, it was announced Tuesday.
Kirk D’Amico (president and CEO of Myriad Pictures) and Lise Romanoff (managing director/CEO of Vision Films), who are running unopposed, will fill the two vice chairman slots.
The group also announced nominees for 12 open seats on the board of directors. They are: Paul Bales (COO, The Asylum); Glen Basner (CEO, FilmNation Entertainment); Shaked Berenson (co-founder, Epic Pictures Group); Carl Clifton (partner, head of sales and marketing, K5 Media Group GmbH); Roger Corman (president, New Horizons); Pierre David (chief strategy advisor, Reel One Entertainment); Miriam Elchanan (senior vp sales & acquisitions, Fabrication Films International; Mathilde Epstein (vp international sales, Lightning Entertainment Group); Kimberly Fox (president of international distribution, Panorama Media); John Friedberg (vp international sales, QED International); Camela Galano (president of foreign sales, Relativity Media); Lawrence Goebel (president & CEO, Imagination Worldwide); Ennis Hensley (executive vp international sales and distribution, The Weinstein Co.); Tony Kandah (manager, Casablanca Pictures); Andrew Kramer (COO international distribution, Lionsgate); Brad Krevoy (chairman and CEO, Motion Picture Corporation of America); Albert Lee (CEO, Emperor Motion Picture HK Limited); Avi Lerner (co-chairman, Nu Image/Millennium Films); Charlotte Mickie (executive vp sales, Entertainment One); Marcy Rubin (president, Blue Galaxy International); and Thorsten Schumacher (managing director and head of worldwide sales, Hanway Films).
