The show host will return with a daily radio segment, “Get Cooking With Paula Deen,” and a weekly podcast in May.

Celebrity chef Paula Deen is making her return to the cooking scene.

Upon leaving Food Network in the midst of her infamous 2013 N-word scandal, Deen launched her own subscription-based online network, the Paula Deen Network, in September 2014 and now will be taking on two more new ventures: a daily radio show, “Get Cooking With Paula Deen,” and a weekly 30-minute podcast, “What’s Cooking With Paula Deen.”

Deen announced in a statement that listeners to her cooking radio show, which will air on country and news-talk stations, will be offered a one-minute tip to help them in "both the kitchen and life."

Both upcoming projects, created in partnership with Compass Media Networks, will debut on May 1.
