People Magazine Awards: Pharrell, Gwen Stefani to Perform

The oft-collaborators and 'Voice' coaches will perform Stefani's latest single, "Spark the Fire"

Gwen Stefani and Pharrell Williams are set to "Spark the Fire" at the People Magazine Awards.

The oft-collaborators and Voice coaches will take the stage together to perform Stefani's latest single, it was announced Monday. They'll join previously announced performers 5 Seconds of Summer and Maroon 5.

Previously announced attendees include Jeff BridgesBilly Eichner, Josh Gad, Jon HammDiane Guerrero and Chloe Grace Moretz, Jennifer AnistonKevin HartKate HudsonMichael Keaton and Jennifer Lopez.

The two-hour special, hosted by Nick Cannon, broadcasts live on Thursday, Dec. 18 at 9 p.m. EST/PST on NBC from the Beverly Hilton Hotel.

The ceremony will include awards for biggest phenomenon of 2014, most stylish person, funniest person, sexiest woman of 2014, the fan-voted award best People Magazine cover of the year and the top honor, most popular person. Also being honored is Nora Sandigo, who will receive the Hero of the Year Award. She works as Founder and Executive Director of American Fraternity Inc., a Miami non-profit helping immigrants and their families.

The event is produced by Dick Clark Productions (a corporate sibling of The Hollywood Reporter and Billboard), and it’s sponsored by L'Oreal Paris and Kohl's. Allen Shapiro, Mike Mahan and Barry Adelman from Dick Clark Productions are executive producers, along with Carol Donovan and Michael Dempsey.
