People's Choice Awards Nominations Revealed
"The Avengers," "The Amazing Spider-Man," "The Vampire Diaries," Adam Levine, Justin Bieber and Channing Tatum are among the nominees.
The 2013 People's Choice Awards nominations were announced Thursday morning, with Justin Bieber, Maroon 5 and The Voice's Adam Levine, Channing Tatum, Jennifer Lawrence and Emma Stone leading the way.
Levine received six nominations combined in the music and television categories, including favorite band, song, album, music video, celebrity judge and competition TV show. Bieber received five nominations, including favorite male artist, pop artist, album, music video and music fan following.

Tatum, recently tapped People's Sexiest Man Alive, had four individual nominations, while Stone and Lawrence had three apiece.
The People's Choice Awards' favorite new TV comedy and new TV drama will be presented by Walgreens. The top five network shows receiving votes in each category will be named the nominees on Dec. 14.
Categories that will remain open for voting during the telecast are favorite movie fan following, music fan following and TV fan following, all new categories this year. Favorite face of heroism and favorite movie icon will also be awarded.

Country singer Jason Aldean, Guys With Kids' Anthony Anderson, Partners' Sophia Bush, Vegas' Jason O'Mara, Parenthood's Monica Potter and Happy Endings' Casey Wilson took part in the nominations announcement at Beverly Hills' Paley Center for Media.
The Big Bang Theory's Kaley Cuoco returns to host the Wednesday, Jan. 9 ceremony from L.A. Live's Nokia Theater, which will be broadcast live 9-11 p.m. EST. Voting begins Thursday online.
Last year's People's Choice Awards drew a 2.5 rating among adults 18-49, down 8 percent from the previous year, and is its second lowest-rated telecast behind the 2008 ceremony.
