"I'm sure it's going to be just devastating to all their viewers."

Not along after news broke that Al Jazeera America is shutting down, Denver Broncos' quarterback Peyton Manning made a joke at the channel's expense.

“I’m sure it’s going to be just devastating to all their viewers,” Manning quipped while talking to media after Wednesday's practice.

AJAM wrapped 2015 with a mere 7,000 average primetime viewers in the news demographic of adults 25-54, essentially a scratch.

The announcement comes less than a month after AJAM made headlines for airing a documentary that claimed Manning — and a number of other professional athletes — used performance-enhancing drugs.

An undercover reporter with Al Jazeera secretly recorded pharmacist Charlie Sly confessing he sent human growth hormone (HGH) and other drugs to Manning’s wife, Ashley Manning.

Manning vehemently denied the allegations and suggested he would seek legal recourse. MLB players Ryan Howard and Ryan Zimmerman filed defamation suits against Al Jazeera.

The cable news outlet, which launched to fanfare in August 2013, is being shut down on April 30, AJAM's chief exec announced on Wednesday.

"We have increasingly set ourselves apart from all the rest, and the achievements of the past two-and-a-half years should be a source of immense pride for everyone," read a statement from CEO Al Anstey.
