Oscars Fashion: Pharrell Wears Lanvin Shorts

The Oscar nominee may have arrived to the 86th annual awards ceremony sans hat, but he started a whole new fashion discussion with a pair of Lanvin shorts on the carpet -- "He's fearless," says designer Alber Elbaz.

Oh Pharrell, how we heart thee. The music talent is known for turning heads with his wacky yet always cool style, as evidenced in the now-infamous Vivienne Westwood Mountie hat he wore to the Grammys and, uh, beyond. But the Oscar-nominated performer ditched the headgear on Sunday, instead opting to start a new style discussion with a Lanvin short tux.

"It's been so brilliant working with Pharrell because he loves clothes, he's fearless, he's fun," Lanvin designer Alber Elbaz told Pret-a-Reporter in Paris on Friday. The performer also wore a killer silver suit by the French label to the Brit Awards on Feb. 19.

Let the @PharrellShorts fun begin.
