Phil Edgar Jones Named Head of Entertainment at Sky
The producer of “Very Important People” takes his post with immediate effect.
LONDON - BSkyB has appointed Phil Edgar Jones as its new head of entertainment, overseeing all entertainment series in production across all Sky’s channels.
Edgar Jones, who previously was creative director at Running Bare and before that at Endemol, has a track record of working on shows like Big Brother, The Salon, The Big Breakfast and The World. He will report to Stuart Murphy, director of Sky 1 and head of commissioning and will take the post with immediate effect.
Outgoing entertainment head Duncan Gray will join Princess Productions as Creative Director.
