Pierce Brosnan and wife Keely Shaye are looking to rent out their recently completed Malibu beach house for the months of July and August. The couple is asking $250,000 a month for the oceanfront property located on steadily eroding Broad Beach, which is home to other celebrities such as Goldie Hawn and Steven Spielberg.
Brosnan and Shaye purchased the one-acre property in 2000 and tore down the existing residence to build their Thai-Bali inspired 13,000 square-foot house mansion. In addition to a 120 foot-wide oceanfront lot, the property also boasts a wide range of amenities, including a gourmet kitchen, saltwater pool, indoor Japanese spa with soaking tub, steam room, sauna, cold plunge, a full-size gym, private screening room with bar, music room, separate guesthouse, pool cabana, teak floors, wrap-around balconies, and fine art and French antiques. There are four bedrooms (three suites) and twelve bathrooms that include his and hers dressing rooms.
Sony Pictures Classics picked up Love Is All You Need, a romantic comedy starring the British actor set in Sorrento, Italy, at Cannes this year. Brosnan also has several films in the works, including Love Punch, a romantic comedy with Emma Thompson about a divorced couple that plot to steal back their pensions, and November Man and The Coup, both of which have the former Bond playing a government operative.
