"My Friends Tigger & Pooh" found a lot of friends in its debut over the weekend.

The Playhouse Disney series ranked as the week's No. 1 series (broadcast and basic cable) in kids 2-5, with both of its airings (10-10:25 a.m. Saturday and Sunday) winning their time periods.

On Saturday, "Tigger & Pooh" drew 928,000 kids 2-5, according to Nielsen Media Research, while Sunday's new episode drew 605,000 viewers in the demo.

In total viewers, Saturday's series launch of "Tigger & Pooh" drew 2.4 million, ranking as the second-most-watched Playhouse Disney series debut of all time in the daypart, behind only the Sept. 16 debut of "Handy Manny" (2.6 million).

Saturday's episode built on the year-ago time period performance by 80% in kids 2-5 and by 60% in total viewers, while Sunday's improved by 56% in the demo and by 73% in total viewers.
