Porn Legend Ron Jeremy Hospitalized With Heart Aneurysm

Adult film star Ron Jeremy has been hospitalized and is in critical condition after suffering a heart aneurysm, a rep for the actor has confirmed to The Hollywood Reporter.

The performer, 59, drove himself to Cedars-Sinai on Tuesday after experiencing severe chest pains, according to manager Mike Esterman.

According to TMZ, who broke the story, Jeremy's condition deteriorated, and he was transferred to the intensive care unit, where he was prepped for surgery.

Named the "top porn star of all time" by industry publication AVN, the man whose nickname is "The Hedgehog" has long been considered the public face of pornography. 

Jeremy has appeared in more than 2,000 adult films since 1978 and has had some crossover success, too, in such films as Orgazmo (1998), The Boondock Saints (2000) and The Rules of Attraction (2002).
