The 'So You Think You Can Dance' host reveals how she achieves her fashionable work and party looks.

So You Think You Can Dance host, Cat Deeley continues to score huge style points both on and off-screen. The blonde Brit—nominated for an Emmy this year for Outstanding Host for a Reality or Reality-Competition Program—loves to play around with her style by mixing vintage confections with high-end designers.

Whether stepping out in a feminine frock (she hit the Teen Choice Awards August 7 in a sea-foam-green lace-overlay dress by Matthew Williamson, paired with Yves St. Laurent hoop earrings and strappy Jimmy Choo’s) or an edgy pants-and-top combo (the star wore a shiny bronze Mulberry top, black Superfine jeans, a Chanel Bag, Accessorize ring, and jeweled Miss Selfridge’s heels at the Fox TCA All Star Party August 5), Deeley always looks polished. She reveals her fashion favorites to THR.

DESIGNER:

I adore Matthew Wiliamson! Both as a person, I'm lucky enough to call him a good friend, and as a creative design talent. He's the 'fairy godmother' every girl needs--he provides a fabulous dress and tells you NOT to be home at midnight!

SHOPPING DESTINATION:

I think the vintage stores and flea markets in L.A. are the best in the world! I'm quite often to be found trawling the Santa Monica/Fairfax market, still in PJ's, with a giant cappuccino, looking for treasure!

RECENT WARDROBE ADDITION:

I style myself on So You Think You Can Dance and i love mixing vintage, designer and High St., finds. I recently found a gem of a dress at the Rose Bowl. I wore it on the performance finale of the show and to the InStyle Summer Soiree. It was a cream cocktail dress with a beaded bodice--perfect in every way! All I had to do was take it in and cut off the straps. Magic!

L.A STORE:

There is an amazing store called Shareen, in L.A., that has the best selection of vintage treasures. I never fail to walk away with a gi-normous bag of goodies. The reason it's so good is down to Shareen's exquisite taste, we have a mutual love fest!
