PPP begins accepting 2010 submissions
Project market has three former films at Cannes this yearSEOUL – Submissions for 2010 Pusan Promotion Plan, a project market for Pusan International Film Festival, open this week.
Since its inception in 1998, PPP has been an opportunity for filmmakers to meet with investors and producers for partnership and co-productions. Three former PPP projects are invited to the 63rd Festival de Cannes, including Lee Chang-dong’s “Poetry” and Boo Jun Feng’s “Sand Castle.”
Last year, over 200 projects competed for 30 finalist slots, including well-known Asian directors including Pang Ho Cheung and Ekachai Uekrongtham.
Submissions for this year's PPP are due no later than June 30.
