Michael Moore, Chloe Grace Moretz and More Slam Trump's "Nasty Woman" Comment During Final Debate
"He's not even hiding his sexism," Moretz tweeted about Trump's remarks toward Hillary Clinton.
Donald Trump sparked anger among Twitter users, Hillary Clinton supporters and celebs alike when he referred to Clinton as a "nasty woman" during Wednesday night's final presidential debate.
Insults were exchanged as Trump and Clinton went head-to-head during the third debate, which took place at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. When moderator Chris Wallace questioned the two candidates on their policies for debt and entitlements, Clinton's jab at Trump's tax records caused the Republican nominee to lash out.
Speaking on her commitment to raise taxes on the wealthy, Clinton said, "My social security payroll contribution will go up, as will Donald's, assuming he can't figure out how to get out of it."
Trump was quick to interject: "Such a nasty woman."
Michael Moore, Chelsea Handler, Seth Meyers and Chloe Grace Moretz were among those who took to social media to slam Trump's name-calling. "He's not even hiding his sexism," Moretz tweeted. Handler sarcastically noted, "Nobody respects women as much as he does."
