Russell Simmons, Elizabeth Banks Set for 2016 Produced By Conference

The Producers Guild of America's annual event will take place June 4-5 on the Sony Pictures lot.

Russell Simmons and his partners in All Def Digital — Sanjay Sharma, Chris Conti and Jake Stein — are among the initial slate of speakers scheduled to appear at the Producers Guild of America’s 8th annual Produced By Conference, which will take place June 4 and 5 at the Sony Pictures lot in Culver City. Actress-turned-director Elizabeth Banks and Max Handelman, her producing partner in Brownstone Productions, are also among the participants who will take part in conversations at the event.

The 2016 edition of the Produced By Conference will be chaired by PGA members Ian Bryce, Tracey Edmonds, Mark Gordon, Marshall Herskovitz and Rachel Klein. Returning to the PBC team are supervising producer Barry Kaplan (EKG, Inc.), program director Madelyn Hammond (Madelyn Hammond and Associates), marketing consultant Lynda Dorf and sponsorship director Diane Salerno (Six Degrees Global).
