Produced By Conference: Mark Gordon, Marshall Herskovitz Join List of Mentors

The Producers Guild of America has announced the lineup of industry producers and executives who will participate as mentors during the roundtable meetings at its sixth annual Produced By Conference. The event, hosted by Warner Bros. Studios, will take place June 7-8.

The confirmed mentors include Cameron Bailey, artistic director of the Toronto International Film Festival; Mark Gordon, president of the PGA; Marshall Herskovitz, president emeritus; Gary Lucchesi, vp motion pictures at the PGA and president of Lakeshore Entertainment; Chris Moore, principal at the Media Farm; Lydia Dean Pilcher (Cutie and the Boxer, The Darjeeling Limited); Cathy Schulman, president of Mandalay Pictures; and Scott Stephens (True Detective, Deadwood).

The event also will feature more than 30 conference sessions, panel discussions, mentoring roundtables, networking opportunities, social events and workshops.

STORY: David Fincher, Seth Rogen to Speak at Produced By Conference

New speakers have also been added to the list, joining the previously announced Seth Rogen, David Fincher, Francis Ford Coppola and Joe Roth. In addition, two new panels will be featured at the conference: "Beyond Blockbusters" and "The Courting of the Female Audiences."

Produced By is chaired by guild members Tracey Edmonds, Herskovitz, Rachel Klein and Lucchesi. Madelyn Hammond serves as programming director, with Barry Kaplan once again serving as the conference’s supervising producer. Diane Salerno returns as sponsorship director, while Lynda Dorf returns as marketing consultant.
