Producers, Becker off to 'War'
EmptyFox, New Regency and Davis Entertainment will produce the family action comedy "Little Big War." Walt Becker is attached to direct.
Details on Jay Longino and Michael Browning's spec script are under wraps, but it likely will revolve around a family that must band together to fight action figures that come to life and go on the attack. The film is expected to be in the vein of Fox's hit comedy "Night at the Museum."
The script came from an original idea by Greg Suess, partner at talent management/production company Roar, which helped develop the script. Suess will executive produce with fellow Roar partner Bernie Cahill. John Davis is producing, and Becker might also come aboard as a producer.
Longino has written several features, including "For Sale" for New Line and "Skin to Sin" for Lionsgate. Browning scripted "Six Days, Seven Nights" and "Bad Company."
Becker ("Wild Hogs") is repped by CAA and Luber Roklin Entertainment. Longino is represented by ICM and Roar. Browning is repped by Roar.(partialdiff)
