Quentin Tarantino's 'Hateful Eight' Teaser Resurfaces Online (Video)

The trailer (with no actual footage) matches the description of a clip that was apparently pulled from YouTube in August 2014.

A year after the leak of the director's script, a newly resurfaced clip of Quentin Tarantino's The Hateful Eight is now available for online viewing.

The trailer (with no actual footage) matches the description of a clip that was apparently pulled from YouTube in August 2014. The clip was posted by The Film Stage on Thursday.

The Hateful Eight clip opens with a snowy and abandoned old-Western background before a description of the storyline appears: "On the edge of the American frontier, some time after the Civil War, eight strangers were stranded by a blizzard. They soon discovered they shared a deadly connection."

The all-white screen becomes smeared with blood splatters, followed by a list of the eight connected characters: Major Marquis Warren, "The Bounty Hunter"; John Ruth, "The Hangman"; Daisy Domergue, "The Prisoner"; Chris Mannix, "The Sheriff"; Bob, "The Mexican"; Oswaldo Mobray, "The Little Man"; Joe Gage, "The Cow Puncher"; and General Sandy Smithers, "The Confederate."

The promo closes with, "See it in glorious 70mm {super cinemascope}"; the film is set for release later this year.

Samuel L. Jackson, Kurt Russell, Tim Roth, Walton Goggins, Bruce Dern, Michael Madsen, Jennifer Jason Leigh and Demian Bichir co-star.
