Rapper Juicy J Rushed to Hospital in San Francisco
The Three 6 Mafia co-founder is currently on tour.
The rapper Juicy J tweeted out news of a health scare last night, causing him to postpone a scheduled tour date.
The Three 6 Mafia co-founder, who won an Academy Award with the hip-hop group for their 2005 song "It's Hard Out Here for a Pimp" (from Hustle and Flow), was in San Francisco on his "The Hustle Continues" Tour. As Vibe reports, he was taken to Saint Francis Memorial Hospital shortly before tweeting:
I wanna apologize to my fans in San Fran I had to rush to the hospital I'm having shortness of breath I love you all pray for me— juicy j (@therealjuicyj) May 24, 2015
He updated his progress a few hours later, and posted a telling Instagram:

Juicy J is set to release his fourth solo album, Pure THC: The Hustle Continues, later this year. Following his collaboration with Katy Perry on "Dark Horse," he's rumored to also be working with One Direction.
