'The Real World' Star Elected to Congress

Sean Duffy snags seat in the House of Representatives in his home state of Wisconsin.

A member of The Real World family is going into politics.

Sean Duffy, from the Boston season of the MTV reality series which aired 1997, won a seat in the House of Representatives on Tuesday night.

The Real World alum will be a representative in his home state of Wisconsin.

The conservative Duffy was one of many Republicans who snagged dozens of seats in the House, taking control away from the Democrats who had the majority for the past four years.

Entertainment Weekly points out that Duffy's wife and Real World: San Francisco alum Rachel Campos was in the running for a spot on The View, which went to former Survivor contestant Elisabeth Hasselbeck.
