Reelz Channel Books John Salley Show for April
The former "Best Damn Sports Show Period" co-host will discuss pop culture and film in "Game On! With John Salley."
Former Best Damn Sports Show Period co-host John Salley is joining the Reelz Channel team with Game On! With John Salley, the net announced Thursday.
Premiering on Sunday, April 10, Game On will feature the former NBA star discussing the latest pop culture stories and how they intersect with movies.
"Our viewers already know John Salley brings his own special swagger to red-carpet coverage and celebrity interviews on Reelz Channel," Reelz CEO Stan E. Hubbard said in a statement announcing the weekly show.
Described as an action talk show, Salley will go one-on-one with athletes, politicians, musicians and newsmakers, discussing their lives, pop culture and movies.
Salley is currently a correspondent for Reelz, covering red carpets and other events for its Hollywood Dailies.
Reelz will launch Game On after the eighth and final installment of The Kennedys.
Reelz is available in nearly 60 million homes and attracts about 5.5 million viewers a week.
