Reese Witherspoon-Starrer 'Home Again' Nabbed by Open Road for North America
Michael Sheen, Nat Wolff and Lake Bell will be joining the cast of the Nancy Meyers-produced indie.
Open Road Films has acquired North American rights to Home Again, which will star Reese Witherspoon, the company said Wednesday.
Michael Sheen, Nat Wolff and Lake Bell will be joining Witherspoon in the cast of the indie feature.
Home Again centers on a recently divorced mother who moves to Los Angeles and takes in three younger men who become part of her unconventional family.
Nancy Meyers will produce the movie, which was written by her daughter Hallie Meyers-Shyer, who will be making her directorial debut with the project that is set to begin production this fall. Erika Olde of Black Bicycle Entertainment also will produce.
MadRiver is selling the international rights to the project.
CAA negotiated the deal on behalf of the filmmakers with Open Road CEO Tom Ortenberg.
Sheen currently can be seen in the fourth season of Showtime's Masters of Sex and will next be seen in the space-set drama Passengers with Chris Pratt and Jennifer Lawrence.
Wolff starred in last year's John Green adaptation Paper Towns and is set to star in the supernatural thriller Death Note.
Bell lent her voice to Universal's The Secret Life of Pets and also wrote and will soon direct the comedy What's the Point?, in which she also will star with Ed Helms.
Sheen is repped by ICM, the U.K.'s Roxane Vacca, Sanders Armstrong and Schreck Rose; Wolff is repped by CAA and Untitled; and Bell is repped by UTA.
