Watch Emma Watson Tell Ethan Hawke of Horrifying Sights in New 'Regression' Trailer

'Regression'

"I heard a knock at the door. There was some old lady. They were headed for my dad's workshop. I could hear chanting. They were wearing robes. It was a black mask. ... Now they'll kill you too."

"Nobody's going to hurt you anymore."

A new trailer has arrived for Alejandro Amenabar's thriller Regression, starring Ethan Hawke and Emma Watson.

TWC-Dimension is releasing the much-anticipated supernatural flick, which centers on a young woman who accuses her father of a sexual abuse crime he doesn't remember committing. But when the father suddenly admits to the crime, a psychologist tries to help clarify the mystery, while other townspeople find themselves discovering suppressed memories of horrific abuse.

In the trailer, Watson's character shares what she saw: "I heard a knock at the door. There was some old lady. They were headed for my dad's workshop. I could hear chanting. They were wearing robes. It was a black mask." And since she's told Hawke's character, "Now they'll kill you too."

Regression hits theaters Aug. 28. Watch the trailer below.
