ICM Grabs Good Genes

ICM Partners has signed Hopper Penn, the son of Sean Penn and Robin Wright. The 21-year-old recently wrapped an appearance on his father’s directorial feature The Last Face, which stars Charlize Theron and Javier Bardem. The drama will be his most significant credit to date, behind two shorts and a cameo on MTV’s Viva la Bam. Penn’s older sister, Dylan, a model, will make her acting debut next year with the lead in indie horror film Condemned.

UTA is Shameless for Gehlfuss

UTA has signed actor Nick Gehlfuss, who recurred on Showtime’s Shameless this spring as the ne’er-do-well Robbie, who leads Fiona (Emmy Rossum) astray after she has an affair with him.  Last month he starred opposite Amber Tamblyn, Shawn Hatosy and Alicia Witt in Neil LaBute’s Reasons to Be Pretty at the Geffen Playhouse. Gehlfuss has also recently recurred on A&E’s Longmire, TNT’s Murder in the First and HBO’s The Newsroom.
