'The Ricki Lake Show' Names Lisa Kridos Executive Producer
The syndicated talk show premieres in September.
Lisa Kridos has been named executive producer of The Ricki Lake Show, the syndicated talk show which premieres in September, it was announced Thursday by Stephen Brown, SVP of Programming & Development, Twentieth Television.

“The combination of Lisa and Ricki, one of the sharpest producers in morning television and a talented proven talk show host, will be a powerful and exciting force in daytime television,” says Brown.
“It's rare to find a savvy producer who is intuitive, creative and has a refreshingly genuine point-of-view,” says Lake. “Lisa is a powerhouse executive with razor-sharp instincts and an unparalleled vision for what is going to be a groundbreaking talk show experience.”
For the past 15 years, Kridos has been Executive Producer of Good Day L.A. on KTTV, the Fox station in Los Angeles.
“Ricki is an extraordinary talent who is extremely comfortable in front of the camera,” says Kridos. “Even better, she is the same person off camera as she is on – warm, smart, personable and caring. Ricki has the qualities that make for the perfect daytime host.”

The new show returns Lake to daytime TV with her first regular show since she ended her prior talk show in 2005. Fox is billing it as the return of “America’s girlfriend.” It is aimed at women 25 to 54 years of age, and will delve into such topics as parenting, weight loss and relationships.
The Ricki Lake Show is produced by Monet Lane Prods., Inc. and distributed by Twentieth Television.
