Ricky Gervais Plans to 'Go After' 'Weak, Feeble' Charlie Sheen at Globes
“I’m not going to go for Russell Crowe or Mickey Rourke,” he says.
As if Charlie Sheen didn’t have enough woes (on Friday morning, CBS Entertainment President Nina Tassler said the network has a "high level of concern" for the troubled actor).
Now, Golden Globe Awards host Ricky Gervais says he plans to heckle the Two and a Half Men star at Sunday’s show.
"Charlie Sheen has obviously put his head above the parapet," he said Thursday on Ellen DeGeneres’ talk show. "Like last year, Mel Gibson was a gift from the comedy god ... Mel Gibson, Charlie Sheen, O.J. Simpson. These are people that really have something to go after."
Added the Brit (who will resume hosting duties for the second year), “I only go for the weak or the feeble. I’m not going to go for Russell Crowe or Mickey Rourke. Mickey Rooney, maybe! Betty White — I’m not scared of her."
