Ricky Martin Joins 'The Voice Mexico'
The Latin American pop sensation previously appeared on the singing show's Australian version.
MEXICO CITY — Puerto Rican pop icon Ricky Martin will coach the fourth season of the hit singing competition The Voice Mexico.
Set to bow on Mexico's Televisa network on Sept. 7, The Voice Mexico's judges panel will also feature Mexican singer Yuri, Italian singer-songwriter Laura Pausini and norteno artist Julion Alvarez.
Martin, a Grammy-winning artist who ascended to international stardom following the hit single Livin' la Vida Loca, participated as coach on The Voice Australia.
Previous coaches on The Voice Mexico (La Voz Mexico in Spanish) include Latin Grammy winner Miguel Bose, reggaeton duo Wisin & Yandel and Jenni Rivera, who died in a plane crash after appearing on The Voice Mexico's second season.
