Riegg named alternative vp at NBC, UMS
Executive was previously at ABCNEW YORK -- Brandon Riegg has been appointed to the new position of vp alternative programming and development at NBC and Universal Media Studios.
Riegg most recently worked at ABC as executive director of alternative series and specials. He will report to Meredith Ahr, senior vp alternative programming and development at NBC and Universal Media Studios.
At ABC, he oversaw all facets of development, production and on-air current programming for such series as "Dancing with the Stars," "Wife Swap" and "Extreme Makeover: Home Edition."
Riegg will be responsible for overseeing current alternative shows and new development from pitch to launch.
