Rihanna Video Shoot Halted by Offended Farmer

The pop star was filming her new video in a field in Northern Ireland until the landowner took exception to her state of undress.
LONDON -- Northern Ireland farmer Alan Graham had allowed Rihanna to film a new music video in his field, but took exception when he went out to fetch his tractor and found her dressed in a way he deemed "unacceptable," according to The Guardian.
I thought it was inappropriate. I requested them to stop and they did," he said. "I had my conversation with Rihanna and I hope she understands where I'm coming from. We shook hands."

The 23-year-old singer had been given permission to use Graham's field in Bangor, County Down, although the farmer admitted to not knowing who she was. "I didn't know who was coming. If the name 'Rihanna' had been mentioned, well, no disrespect but it wouldn't have meant anything," he explained.

Despite reports that Rihanna's presence was – quite literally – stopping traffic, as drivers watched her from the road, Graham remained adamant he did not want her to continue filming on his property.

"From my point of view, it was my land, I have an ethos and I felt it was inappropriate," he said. "I wish no ill will against Rihanna and her friends. Perhaps they could acquaint themselves with a greater God."
The Barbadian R&B star is one of the bestselling artists of all time. She is due to release her sixth album in December.
