Rihanna Will Model Underwear for Emporio Armani
The singer, replacing Megan Fox, will star in a new campaign for Emporio Armani Underwear and Armani Jeans.
Grammy-winning singer Rihanna has replaced actress Megan Fox as the face of Emporio Armani Underwear and Armani Jeans. The singer was spotted in Milan in May meeting with Roberta Armani, reportedly finalizing the details of her campaign.
On July 11th, Giorgio Armani announced that Rihanna will be "the new global testimonial for Emporio Armani Underwear and Armani Jeans from autumn/winter 2011-12." Fox, who previously appeared in the campaign, will continue on in the Giorgio Armani Beauty ads.
Rihanna follows in the footsteps of power-couple Victoria and David Beckham as well as Real Madrid striker Cristiano Ronaldo and tennis-pro Rafael Nadal
The singer previously appeared in a 2008 campaign for Gucci and has been a celebrity spokesperson for CoverGirl cosmetics since 2007.
Rihanna's new Emporio Armani and Armani advertisements were shot on location in New York and will launch in September worldwide.
