This Is What Happened at Rihanna's Fenty x Puma Afterparty
Even though guests didn't find out about the party until hours before her show, you can bet a ton of Fenty fans — Naomi Campbell and Travis Scott included — turned up for the late-night bash.
Who needs a coat? Not Rihanna. The singer showed up well over two and a half hours late to her hush-hush afterparty at Up & Down nightclub downtown on Friday night wearing a sleeveless top, skirt with no tights, and a long scarf and sunglasses despite the frigid cold outside.
But RiRi was grinning from ear to ear as she entered the afterparty for her Fenty by Rihanna fashion show from the chilly weather. Most of the guests were made aware of the party only hours before the show, with an invite emailed with details of the private event. Rihanna sat in the center of the room, surrounded by a scattering of family members and models with silver-painted hair (albeit a couple of them had headed to the DAZED 100 and Calvin Klein party at the 1896 Studios and Stages, with guests like Zachary Quinto and Icona Pop).
Rihanna's rumored beau, Travis Scott, was even more popular than the singer herself that evening, as he performed several songs for the crowd, including "Antidote," while standing on the back of a booth, looking down over a cheering crowd. "This is for you!" he yelled at Rihanna before launching into his performance. Not long after, RiRi was joined by Naomi Campbell, Kylie Jenner and Tyga.
Scott is perhaps aiming to be quite the MVP of fashion week — after all, Kanye West thanked him for giving feedback on his album, and the two musicians posed together for a number of high-profile pictures at West's show on Thursday.
