The 'I Am Michael' helmer wrote and will direct the film about a woman who arrives unannounced at the house of her estranged brother.

Justin Kelly, the writer-director of King Cobra and I Am Michael, has cast The Girlfriend Experience star Riley Keough, Caleb Landry Jones (Heaven Knows What) and The Neon Demon breakout Abbey Lee in his next film. Kelly is reteaming with his King Cobra producers Jordan Yale Levine and Scott Levenson on the new project.

Lee will play Alice, who arrives unannounced at her estranged brother's (Jones) home where bizarre visions, the return of Ethan’s strange girlfriend Misty (Keough) and Alice’s paranoia and suspicion force the siblings to cling to reality amidst mysterious circumstances.

The untitled project, currently in production in New York, was written and will be directed by Kelly. Levine of Yale Productions is producing with Levenson, Kelly, Thor Bradwell, Keough and Gina Gammell. Michael Clofine of Digital Ignition Entertainment is executive producing.

“Abbey, Riley and Caleb have proven themselves to be some of the most talented, versatile actors working today, capable of imbuing tough, challenging characters with emotional depth and empathy,” said Kelly. “They are truly the perfect cast to bring this twisted, mysterious story to life.”

Keough and Lee will be reuniting after appearing in George Miller's Mad Max: Fury Road. Keough currently stars in Starz’s series The Girlfriend Experience and appears in A24’s upcoming American Honey, which was awarded the Jury Prize at the Cannes Film Festival. She also is attached to Steven Soderbergh’s directorial project Logan Lucky. Keough is repped by WME and Thirty Three Management.

Lee, known for her modeling career, has quickly been building up a list of impressive film work. After appearing in Fury Road, she starred in Nicolas Winding Refn’s The Neon Demon, which debuted at Cannes and is currently in theaters, and her upcoming films include comedy Office Christmas Party and The Dark Tower with Idris Elba and Matthew McConaughey. Lee is repped by UTA, United Management in Australia, Management 360 and Hansen, Jacobson.

Jones starred in Ben and Joshua Safdie’s Heaven Knows What and Brandon Cronenberg’s Antiviral. His upcoming projects include Mena with Tom Cruise and Three Billboards Outside of Ebbing, Missouri. He is repped by CAA, Untitled Entertainment and Bloom Hergott.
