Rita Wilson to Guest Star on 'Law & Order: SVU'

Fresh off its Rose McGowan episode, Rita Wilson will also be heading to NBC's Law & Order: SVU.

Wilson, who guest starred this season on two episodes of CBS' The Good Wife, will play Bree Mazelon, the protective mother of a teen under investigation in May's "Delinquent" episode.

So far this season, Law & Order: SVU has featured guest stars including Henry Ian Cusick, Joan Cusack,  Maria Bello and Jennifer Love Hewitt. Next week, the NBC procedural will feature Jeremy Irons and Elizabeth Mitchell.

The most recent episode, with McGowan, averaged a 2.6 rating and 8.7 million viewers, up 8 percent compared with its last original in the time slot.
