Robert Greenblatt unveils his next gig
Ex-Showtime exec keeps busy amid NBC speculationHe may be rumored to next punch the clock at NBC, but Robert Greenblatt has already found a different "9 to 5" job.
The former Showtime programming chief is at work on the national tour of "9 to 5: The Musical," which he launched yesterday in Nashville, Tenn. He first served as producer on the Broadway version of the show, which enlisted Dolly Parton as a songwriter, while still working at Showtime last year.
"9 to 5" will kick off at the Tennesee Performing Arts Center through Sept. 26 with "American Idol" finalist Diana DeGarmo in the role originated by Parton in the 1980 film. "9 to 5" earned a Grammy nomination and four Tony nominations.
