Robert Pattinson to Appear on 'Good Morning America' for Live Interview
In his first televised sitdown since Kristen Stewart admitted to cheating, the actor will promote his new film "Cosmopolis."
Robert Pattinson is ready to jump back into the spotlight.
For the first time since Kristin Stewart’s shocking cheating confession, Pattinson will give a live TV interview on ABC’s Good Morning America on Wednesday, Aug. 15, Us Weekly reports.

The appearance will be part of Pattinson’s media blitz to promote his latest film, Cosmopolis. The actor is also scheduled to appear at the film’s New York premiere on Aug. 13 and will speak with reporters the following day. A rep for Pattinson previously told The Hollywood Reporter, “Cosmopolis is a film that Robert is very proud of and looks forward to supporting. No confirmed engagements have been canceled. Any reports to the contrary are inaccurate.”
It is not yet clear if Pattinson will hit more of the talk show and late-night circuit during promotions.

The British native has kept a low profile ever since his very public heartbreak. On July 25, girlfriend and Twilight co-star Stewart admitted to having an affair with her Snow White and the Huntsman director Rupert Sanders. Adding insult to injury, the confession was paired with a splashy photo spread of Stewart and Sanders, in compromising positions, published by Us Weekly.
“This momentary indiscretion has jeopardized the most important thing in my life, the person I love and respect the most, Rob. I love him, I love him, I'm so sorry,” she said in a statement.
Pattinson has yet to address the situation publicly.
Reps for Pattinson and Cosmopolis did not immediately return THR's request for comment.
