Robert Redford, Shia LaBeouf to Star in 'The Company You Keep'
Redford will also direct the political thriller about a former militant on the run.
Shia LaBeouf and Robert Redford will headline the political action thriller The Company You Keep, Voltage Pictures and Wildwood Enterprises announced Tuesday.
Redford will also direct from a script by Lem Dobbs (The Limey), based on the novel by Neil Gordon. Redford will play a former Weather Underground militant, wanted by the FBI, whose identity is exposed by a young reporter, played by LaBeouf.
Redford, Bill Holderman and Nicolas Chartier are producing, with Craig J. Flores as exec producer. Redford's Wildwood Enterprises originally acquired the novel and developed the screenplay with Voltage, which is selling the picture internationally. Filming is set to begin in Vancouver in September.
Both LaBeouf and Redford are repped by CAA.
